The more I explore ceramics, the more interesting techniques I find to create pieces. A friend of mine at the studio does sgraffito work and she showed me the ropes on how to achieve some plates. I often miss drawing regularly, and this method is a great way for me to work with ceramics and drawing.
These are some pieces from the last collection of sgraffito plates I made at the studio. I will be making more sgraffito plates in the future and they usually come in waves. In the meantime, I’m working on a big collection of miniatures. Stay tuned for new plates and itty-bitty ceramic pieces!
